Monroe at Hazeltine Celebrates Sales Success & First Move-Ins with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Updated: Sep 24, 2020

With Monroe at Hazeltine reaching over 70% sold and welcoming its first move-ins, developer-builder etco Homes partnered with the San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce to hold an official ribbon cutting ceremony for Van Nuys’ newest residential community.

Taking place on Thursday, September 17, the celebratory event was attended by Bree Long, SVP of Sales & Marketing at etco Homes, Joy Maine, VP of Marketing and Design, and Caroline Menjivar, East Valley Area Representative for Mayor Garcetti’s office as well as Carl Steinberg, VP of Community Development, who spoke on the outstanding project and thanked those involved.

“Thank you to the sales and marketing team for a wonderful job pulling this together. I want to thank the Chamber for being here and hosting this event and the council office working to represent the councilman’s office. It’s going to be a great year.”

The event’s first announcement introduced two stunning, new designer model homes as well as The Leadwell Residence — an only-of-its-kind, two-story home secluded at the end of a private cul-de-sac on Leadwell Street, standing apart as Monroe at Hazeltine’s crown jewel.

With the demand for quality new construction homes within a coveted Van Nuys locale on the rise, paired with interest rates at an all-time low, sales at Monroe at Hazeltine continue to increase. The new, fast-selling community has reached 65% sold of its modern residences, drawing interest from eager first-time and secondary homebuyers including young professionals and families alike. In recent months, Monroe at Hazeltine has been busy accommodating potential buyers with private in-person tours and guided virtual showings, revealing its affordable, turnkey opportunity for homeownership with each thoughtful presentation.

The new community’s homes offer everything today’s buyer is looking for: ample space, contemporary style, an ideal setting and brand new everything. Monroe at Hazeltine’s townhomes offer three floor plans ranging from 1,961 square feet to 2,025 square feet: The Harland, The Whitley and The Chandler. Each three-bedroom, four-bathroom features sunlit patios, two-car garages and a spacious bonus room/flex space to reimagine as one pleases. Homes are complete with Ring Video doorbell at entry, Kwikset “Kevo” keyless entry at front door and NEST Thermostats.

Secluded from the townhomes at the end of a private cul-de-sac is The Leadwell Residence — set apart, quite literally, as Monroe at Hazeltine’s crown jewel. The Leadwell’s four-bedroom plus loft, three-bathroom modern retreat enjoys 2,600-square-feet of light-filled, flexible-use living space, complete with a state-of-the-art kitchen, expansive dining and family rooms, grand master suite on the second level, spacious outdoor patio and a two-car garage.

Monroe at Hazeltine combines etco Homes’ celebrated flair with an incredibly dynamic locale in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. Here, L.A.'s most sought-after destinations remain within easy reach, with transit options like the Van Nuys Metrolink station and the 405, 101, 134, 118 and 5 freeways set moments away. This paired with the coveted seclusion and charm of Van Nuys, brimming with lush parks and neighborhood eateries, makes it simple to truly get centered and live well.
